So aside from creating glamorous events, what have we done behind the scenes? Let’s see:
As guests were arriving to attend a beautiful wedding ceremony at a landmark cathedral, the power outage put a damper on our otherwise gorgeous days. We took this opportunity and created a candlelit altar with strategically placed aisle candles with the help of our design studio.
At a grand procession for a South Asian wedding at a contemporary venue, the horse “Rocky”, decided he wanted to skip the party and took off down the garden path with the groom on it. It only delayed us by 30 minutes, we got our groom relaxed and back on the horse, for his awaiting beautiful bride.
Let’s not forget, while rehearsing a champagne parade our banquet captain bumped the cake table, toppling the two top tiers of the wedding cake onto the floor. Our planner turned at that moment to get the pastry chef, who had fun fixing that. Our photo shoot of that wedding cake, needless to say, was kept short.
But our favorite is handing a tissue to the father of the bride that was just about to walk his daughter down the aisle. As he escorted her to her new life and handed her to her husband to be, it was the most emotional moment for the parents of the bride. We all used the tissue on that one.
