My inspiration: Being surrounded by creative people helps me channel the creative parts of myself, and I find that incredibly invigorating. I have amazing friends that inspire me by all that they are and all that they do in life. I try to find inspiration from all people and cultures, I believe everyone has something to offer and our differences make the world go round.
My Passion: My passion is to travel the world and make a positive impact every chance I get. I live by Gandhi’s quote “We Must Be the Change We Wish to See in the World.” I try to apply that to all aspects of my life, as a professional, volunteer, a friend and more. I feel extremely lucky in life and a responsibility to pay that forward.
My Experience: I started working on events in college and realized what a perfect fit it is for me. It allowed me to be creative, and put good use to my overly organized side. I am a Gemini and I truly believe that I often embody the duality associated with that sign.
I have worked on events as a volunteer in my personal life and for Oliveaire since 2007. I also worked as a volunteer manager in the non-profit field for seven years. I now work exclusively with the Oliveaire linen line.
My favorite Food: Ice cream, I would eat it for every meal, every day, if I could (and remain at all healthy anyway).
My color: Pink, not a soft pink but a bright bold pink
A moment I will never forget: The moment I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. I was on an on-ramp to the expressway when the nurse called, I almost drove off the road!
Book I have read more than once: Gone With the Wind, I love the strength and spirit of Scarlett O’Hara.
